Dear Eagles’ College Community:
I welcome you all to this new school year. We are ready to start our work to provide our students with the most wonderful experiences so they can take safe and solid steps in their learning journey at Eagles’.
I would like to emphasize that our School Project is student centered; therefore, the role of the student in this process is quite important and fundamental. Actually, there is nothing that can replace his attitude and the part he needs to play in the learning – teaching process.
To make his learning experience enjoyable and unforgettable, along the way, his family and the school environment need to collaborate to give him clear signs of what is expected from him and that he is able to achieve these expectations.
Every student is capable of great achievements when he is given the tools. Today, these tools are not only related to knowledge but abilities and competencies which are to be built since early childhood, such as organization, responsibility, critical thinking, empathy, investigation, communicational and social skills.
Let us work together so our children can grow strong in these traits and can turn into great leaders of their own lives who can make a difference for our society and our world.
Les doy la más cordial bienvenida a este Nuevo año escolar. Estamos listos para comenzar nuestras actividades académicas y entregar a nuestros estudiantes las experiencias más maravillosas de manera de que puedan dar pasos sólidos y seguros en este viaje del aprendizaje en Eagles’ College.
Quisiera enfatizar que nuestro Proyecto Educativo es centrado en el alumno; por lo que el rol del estudiante en este proceso es fundamental e importante. De hecho, no hay nada que pueda reemplazar su actitud y su desempeño en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.
Para hacer que esta experiencia de aprendizaje sea inolvidable y la puedan disfrutar, su familia el colegio debemos colaborar para darles señales claras y coherentes de lo que se espera de él y de que puede alcanzar estas metas.
Cada estudiante es capaz de grandes logros cuando se le dan las herramientas correctas. Hoy en día, estas herramientas no solo están relacionadas con el conocimiento sino con habilidades y competencias que debieran construirse desde la niñez, como la organización, la responsabilidad, el pensamiento crítico, la empatía, habilidades de investigación, comunicacionales y sociales.
Trabajemos en conjunto de modo que nuestros niños y niñas puedan desarrollarse con estas características y convertirse en grandes líderes, primero de sus vidas, y marquen la diferencia en nuestra sociedad y en el mundo.
