We hope this message finds you well. We are pleased to announce the beginning of the Cambridge Certification Process for 2024.
This process is a fundamental part of the objectives of our Educational Project in the training of bilingual students. The exam certifies the level of English proficiency our students have achieved, which is validated by an internationally renowned organization, the University of Cambridge in England.
According to the organization of our Educational Project, students must take at least two exams at each educational level (Elementary/High School). It is important to note that for 6th grade, 8th grade, and High School levels, this process is mandatory.
This process begins with the registration and payment stage for the Cambridge Certification exams.
In the case of 6th grade, students must take the KET (Key English Test), which marks the completion of the immersion cycle before they enter the High School stage. If your child has already taken the KET in the past, they are excused from taking it this year.
All 8th-grade students, who will move on to the High School English levels in 2025, must take the PET exam, unless they have been at Eagles’ College for less than two years; in that case, they can take the KET.
As per the information provided, we invite you to visit Francisco Vergara #3434 to meet with Miss Solange Catalán from Monday, August 19 to Friday, September 6 for registration and the corresponding payment.
From that date on, you will find the certification level lists for each student at the admissions office. Additionally, each teacher will provide this information to their students.
We would like to emphasize that the registration and payment process is only completed when you receive a receipt acknowledgment from the person in charge of receiving the registration and payment.
Steps to follow for registration:
- Visit the school and contact Miss Solange Catalán admision@eaglescollege.cl to find out which exam your child needs to take. (57) 2532364 – 2532365.
- Make the corresponding payment in cash, by check, or bank transfer.
- Receive a receipt acknowledgment from Miss Solange Catalán confirming that the registration has been processed.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION before registering:
Once the registrations have been sent to Cambridge, it is not possible to cancel the registration, change the session, or transfer it to another candidate. This year, the exams will be held within a range of days, not on a fixed date set by Cambridge. The exact dates will be sent via COE (Confirmation of Entry) approximately two weeks in advance. We kindly ask that you take this into consideration before registering.
If the exam must be suspended due to force majeure, such as a pandemic, disturbances, or any other event that prevents its administration, the exam will be rescheduled for another date, pending Cambridge’s approval.
If the exam is held and the student does not show up to take it, no refunds will be issued, except upon presentation of a medical certificate specifying the reason for the absence. If accepted by Cambridge, a refund of 60% of the amount paid will be issued. However, Cambridge reserves the right not to issue any refund.
On the day of the exam, both oral and written, students must present a valid ID. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to take the exam. They must also bring their Confirmation of Entry.
Finally, we would like to emphasize that there must be a minimum of 20 students per exam for it to be administered.
